Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST)

The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) is the Nigerian federal government's postal operator, established in 1985 when the Nigerian Department of Posts and Telecommunications was split into NIPOST (postal services) and NITEL (telecoms). NIPOST operates postal and parcel delivery services across Nigeria through a network of over 3,000 post offices and postal agencies, offering domestic and international mail, parcels, Express Mail Service (EMS), money transfers, stamp issuance, and philatelic services. NIPOST is supervised by the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
