About Peotona Group Holdings
Peotona Group Holdings (PGH) is a majority black women-owned South African investment company founded in 2005 by four pioneering businesswomen: Cheryl Carolus (former South African High Commissioner to the UK and former Transnet board chair), Thandi Orleyn (former Standard Bank director), Wendy Lucas-Bull (former Absa Group chair), and Dolly Mokgatle (former Eskom executive). PGH was established with the belief that sustainable business requires both fiscal profits and social responsibility, and invests in South African partners that share its ethics and social impact values. The group operates across diverse sectors including energy, mining, financial services, and telecommunications.
