Tanzania Cashew Board (TCB) is the statutory body regulating Tanzania's cashew nut industry. Tanzania is among Africa's largest raw cashew producers (approximately 200,000-250,000 tonnes annually) with production centered in Mtwara, Lindi, Ruvuma, and Pwani regions, though most cashews are exported raw to Asian processors rather than processed locally.
