Yankari Game Reserve

Yankari National Park (also known as Yankari Game Reserve) is the largest game reserve in Nigeria, located in Bauchi State and covering approximately 2,244 square kilometres of savannah woodland. Yankari is home to one of Nigeria's largest elephant populations along with lions, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, and numerous bird species, making it the premier wildlife tourism destination in Northern Nigeria. The park also features the Wikki Warm Spring (a natural warm spring fed by underground water) and chalets. Yankari is managed by the Bauchi State Government.
