About BeyondNetZero
BeyondNetZero is the climate growth equity fund of General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm. The fund focuses on investing in growth companies delivering innovative climate solutions that have the potential to meet and exceed net-zero emissions targets, with a focus on decarbonization, energy efficiency, resource conservation, and emissions management. This venture combines General Atlantic’s growth equity experience and global network with a team of experienced climate investors, advisors, and industry executives who bring decades of experience in both addressing climate-focused problems and building pioneering growth companies. Since its launch in July 2021, BeyondNetZero has invested over $800 million across five companies that are combating climate change at scale. The fund operates as an Article 9 Fund under the European Union’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), fully focused on investments that aim to accelerate the net-zero transition and holds itself to a high standard of ESG commitment and transparency. BeyondNetZero's portfolio includes companies such as 80 Acres Farms, a vertical farming company; RoadRunner, a tech-enabled recycling platform; and o9 Solutions, a software solution designed to reduce waste and make supply chains more efficient. The fund continues to seek innovative companies that align with its mission to address global climate change through sustainable investment strategies.
