Carlo Kölzer

Carlo Kölzer is a German angel investor and founder of 360T, a global provider of multi-bank, multi-asset trading solutions. He has extensive experience in capital markets, including trading, sales, risk control, and financial accounting. Carlo studied economics and holds an MBA from the University of Passau. He began his investment banking career as a financial analyst in mergers & acquisitions and later worked for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt and New York, heading a task force within the Internal Audit Group. Recognizing the potential of the internet to transform capital markets, Carlo founded 360T in 2000 to introduce platform trading in foreign exchange (FX). Since then, the company has grown to operate globally and is widely recognized as a premier FX trading platform. In 2015, Deutsche Börse Group acquired 360T, appointing Carlo to lead its entire FX operations globally. Since 2023, he has also assumed responsibility for Deutsche Börse Group’s Digital Assets segment. As an angel investor, Carlo focuses on early-stage investments in the fintech sector, particularly in companies developing innovative trading platforms and digital asset solutions. His investment strategy emphasizes technological innovation and market disruption, aiming to support ventures that can transform traditional financial services through digitalization. Carlo's track record includes leading 360T through significant growth and its successful acquisition by Deutsche Börse, demonstrating his ability to identify and nurture high-potential fintech companies.
