Catalyst MENA Clean Energy Fund is a private equity firm based in Amman, Jordan, focusing on renewable energy and water infrastructure projects across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The firm aims to create, invest in, and grow a world-class base of companies and projects that primarily serve the energy and water treatment sectors. Catalyst has a proven track record, having developed and invested in over 110 MWp of operational solar photovoltaic projects in Jordan and Egypt. In 2016, Catalyst launched the Catalyst MENA Clean Energy Fund (CMCF), the MENA region's first dedicated renewable energy fund, with over $57 million in commitments from its shareholders, including European government institutions.
