Comoé Capital

An impact investment fund dedicated to financing and supporting Ivorian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups across various sectors. Established in 2018, Comoé Capital offers a range of financing options, including minority equity investments and seed funding, tailored to the size and maturity of the companies. The fund also provides technical assistance, strategic support, and access to a network of mentors to foster the growth and development of its portfolio companies. As an implementing partner of the I&P Accélération FARM program, Comoé Capital focuses on supporting agricultural SMEs in Côte d'Ivoire, aiming to finance and support around thirty start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the agricultural value chain to reduce the food crisis. The program is funded with €4 million by Proparco, a subsidiary of the Agence Française de Développement Group dedicated to the private sector. Over the next ten years, Comoé Capital aims to finance 50 companies, with a target of 4 to 5 investments per year, and to create or maintain more than 2,000 jobs in Côte d'Ivoire. The fund's portfolio includes investments in sectors such as agriculture, agri-food, technology, education, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, retail, services, construction, transport, logistics, telecommunications, media, and financial services.
