About Eloho Omame

Eloho Omame is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur dedicated to supporting high-impact startups in Africa. She is a Partner at TLcom Capital, a venture capital firm focusing on seed to Series B investments in high-growth, tech-enabled startups across Africa. In this role, she represents the firm on the boards of companies such as HUB2, Illa, and Talstack. Additionally, Eloho co-founded FirstCheck Africa, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in tech startups founded or co-founded by women, aiming to address the gender gap in venture capital funding on the continent. Prior to her current roles, Eloho served as the founding Managing Director and CEO of Endeavor Nigeria, where she launched and led the organization's mission to support high-impact entrepreneurs in the country. Under her leadership, Endeavor Nigeria developed a comprehensive portfolio of services to assist Nigeria's growing community of high-growth entrepreneurs at the scale-up stage. Before joining Endeavor, she was a Vice President at General Atlantic, focusing on growth equity investments in Sub-Saharan Africa, and Head of Corporate Development at First Bank of Nigeria, where she led the bank's pan-African M&A strategy. Eloho began her career in investment banking with Renaissance Capital and Credit Suisse, participating in M&A and capital-raising transactions for clients in the UK, Europe, and Nigeria. Eloho holds an MBA from the London Business School and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and believes that scaling businesses is a powerful tool for economic empowerment in developing markets. Through her work, she continues to contribute significantly to the growth and development of Africa's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
