Jon Vlassopulos

Jon Vlassopulos is an accomplished angel investor and entrepreneur with a focus on media, entertainment, gaming, music, and technology sectors. He has invested in various startups, including FitStar, Ample Foods, The League, Laurel & Wolf, WillCall, Outdoorsy, Anyplace, VINA, Toymail, Vango, and The League. His investment firm, A-Force Ventures, concentrates on early-stage companies led by female founders and co-ed teams in gaming, AI, metaverse, web3, entertainment, travel, and consumer products. In addition to his investment activities, Vlassopulos has held significant leadership roles in the industry. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Napster, the longest-running independent music streaming service, where he led the company's evolution into a next-generation platform incorporating Web3 and social features. Prior to Napster, he was the Vice President and Global Head of Music at Roblox, where he established the company's music and brand partnerships and produced record-breaking virtual concerts and immersive experiences with artists and global brands. Vlassopulos began his career as a DJ and later worked for BMG and Bertelsmann in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York, leading early digital initiatives and investments. He also served as the CEO of Skyrockit, an award-winning mobile entertainment marketing and advertising agency. He holds degrees in Chinese and Economics from Durham University and resides in Nashville with his family.
