Jonah Goodhart

Jonah Goodhart is an experienced angel investor and entrepreneur specializing in early-stage technology companies. He co-founded Montauk Labs, a venture studio focused on exploring new and impactful ideas and technologies. Prior to this, he co-founded Moat, a New York-based analytics company that was acquired by Oracle in 2017. At Moat, Goodhart served as CEO and co-founder, leading the company in providing measurement, analytics, and intelligence for brands and publishers. Before Moat, he was a founding investor and board member of Right Media, an online advertising exchange acquired by Yahoo! in 2007. He also co-founded WGI Group, an early-stage investment fund, and Billions.org, a non-profit platform assisting organizations in leveraging the internet to spread their messages. Goodhart has invested in over 35 companies, including Symitri, Key AI, Sincera, Ampathy, Recast, Ophelos, Trinsic, and Crisp. Goodhart's investment strategy focuses on early-stage companies, with investments ranging from $250,000 to $1 million, typically around $500,000. His portfolio includes companies in technology, software, internet, media, data analytics, e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, consumer internet, enterprise software, advertising, marketing, education, healthcare, and real estate. He is actively seeking new investment opportunities and prefers minority stakes, often syndicating investments.
