Mārcis Grīnis is a Latvian entrepreneur and investor specializing in private equity and venture capital. He is the co-founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eleving Group, an international financial services group operating in 16 markets across three continents. Under his leadership, Eleving Group has driven innovation in financial technology, encouraging financial inclusion and upward social mobility in underserved communities around the globe. In addition to his role at Eleving Group, Mārcis Grīnis is an investor in the self-service technology company Tapbox and a co-founder of a fintech business in the Balkan region, where he managed its strategic direction and operations. He has also been involved in the launch of MeDi Group, a consolidation of high cash-flow healthcare businesses across multiple verticals, through both mergers and acquisitions and greenfield investments. Mārcis holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business, a post-graduate degree in Management, and a Master's degree in Finance and Strategic Management. He graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and Copenhagen Business School. His expertise spans data intelligence, business strategy, operations scaling, financial and risk management, and corporate finance. He has a track record of founding and developing several start-ups and businesses within the MarTech, IT, and FinTech sectors.
