Nevets Uganda Limited is a fully registered private company in Uganda, incorporated on June 2, 2009, under the Companies Act (CAP 110 of the Laws of Uganda). The company is dedicated to promoting sustainable commercial agriculture by providing high-quality agricultural inputs, products, and services. Their mission is to significantly contribute to food security and economic development through the production, processing, value addition, and supply of agricultural products, inputs, and services. Their vision is to become the leading agribusiness enterprise in transforming subsistence farming into sustainable commercial agriculture and generating clean renewable energy. The company offers a wide range of products and services, including improved seeds, fruits and vegetables, fruit and tree seedlings, cuttings, vines and suckers, livestock, farm tools and equipment, agro-chemicals and fertilizers, fish farming, beekeeping, and consultancy in all agricultural-related fields. They have entered into a strategic partnership with Schaefer Global Management LLC (SGM) from the USA to implement a lucrative agricultural project focused on aquaponic food production. SGM USA, founded in 2014, specializes in developing commercial-scale aquaponic platforms that combine aquaculture and hydroponics to create a sustainable and efficient food production system. This partnership aims to revolutionize traditional agriculture through sustainable practices such as aquaponics, addressing the challenges of food production for an increasingly urbanized world. The collaboration is aligned with global development agendas, including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the African Union Development Agenda 2063, focusing on ending poverty, achieving food security, promoting sustainable agriculture, and fostering economic development. The project also supports Uganda's National Development Plan, which prioritizes agriculture as the primary growth sector in the country's economy. Through this partnership, Nevets Uganda Limited and Schaefer Global Management LLC are committed to promoting sustainable commercial agriculture, enhancing food security, and contributing to the economic development of Uganda.
