Sanjit Biswas

Sanjit Biswas is an American entrepreneur and angel investor specializing in technology companies. He co-founded Meraki in 2006, a cloud-managed networking company that was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2012 for $1.2 billion. In 2015, he co-founded Samsara, an Internet of Things company that went public in 2021. Biswas has invested in several startups, including Infisical, Nuvo, and Meter. He holds a B.S. from Stanford University and an S.M. from MIT. He is married to Hope Biswas, an infectious disease epidemiologist, and together they established the Biswas Family Foundation in 2023 to fund innovative projects in healthcare. Biswas has been recognized as an MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35, a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, and one of Goldman Sachs' 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. Under his leadership, Samsara has grown rapidly, surpassing $1 billion in Annual Recurring Revenue in Q4 2023. His investment focus includes early-stage technology companies in sectors such as Internet of Things, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, with a geographical focus on North America, Europe, and Asia. His investments typically range from $1 million to $50 million, supporting companies at various stages of growth, from seed to pre-IPO.
