Seth Fischer is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Oasis Management, an international investment manager headquartered in Hong Kong. Oasis Management invests globally across capital structures, employing a multi-strategy approach that includes equity, fixed income, distressed and special situations, commodities, real estate, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, hedge funds, crypto, ESG and impact investing, and collectibles & art. Before joining Highbridge in January 1995, he served in the Israel Defense Forces. Mr. Fischer graduated from Yeshiva University in New York in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is a Board Member of the Karen Leung Foundation, a Board Member of Carmel School in Hong Kong, and Vice Chairman of the Ohel Leah Synagogue Management Committee in Hong Kong. Mr. Fischer is a proponent of corporate governance reforms across Asia and is a frequent speaker on economic and investment panels. Oasis Management is a signatory to Stewardship Codes in Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong, and is a member of the Japan Corporate Governance Network and the Asia Corporate Governance Association. The firm is also a Sustaining Donor to the Board Director Training Institute of Japan. Oasis Management's investment approach combines fundamental value analysis with sensitivity to changing market environments, focusing on long and short opportunities across markets and capital structures.
