Tony Jamous

Tony Jamous is a tech entrepreneur and angel investor, best known as the founder and CEO of Oyster, a global employment platform that enables companies to hire, pay, and care for their international teams. Prior to founding Oyster, he co-founded Nexmo, a leader in Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS), which was acquired by Vonage in 2016. With over 14 years of experience in building high-growth technology businesses, Tony has a strong focus on cloud communications and mobile technologies. He holds a Master's in Computer Science from the Grenoble Institute of Technology in France and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland, specializing in leadership development and organizational behavior. As an angel investor, Tony has made over 15 direct investments in global technology companies, concentrating on developer tools, platform models, impact, FinTech, and HR Tech. His portfolio includes companies like Pento, TrueLayer, Dialpad, Hopin, and Claap. Five of these companies have realized exits to date. Tony's investment strategy emphasizes platform models that have the potential to drive significant global change.
