IUCN Med - DesirMED Giant Interactive Map

Overview

IUCN Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation is procuring the design, production and activation of a Giant Interactive Map for the DesirMED Project (Demonstration and mainstrEaming of nature-based Solutions for climate Resilient transformation in the MEDiterranean). DesirMED is an EU-funded project supporting Nature-based Solutions implementation across the Mediterranean. The Giant Interactive Map will be a touring exhibit showcasing NbS sites, results and stories across the Mediterranean region, used at conferences, events and public engagement activities. The 1-year contract is valued up to CHF 45,000.

Scope of Work

Concept design of the Giant Interactive Map including content architecture and visual identity. Production of the physical Giant Map with interactive elements (touchscreens, sensors, tactile features as appropriate). Production of accompanying digital content (videos, stories, data visualisations). Activation at agreed events across the Mediterranean region during the project period. Logistics for transport and installation at events. Maintenance and updates during the contract period. Final delivery of all assets to IUCN Med.

Requirements & Qualifications

Creative agency with demonstrated experience designing and producing interactive exhibits, museum installations or experiential events. Mediterranean operating capability (multilingual: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic). Familiarity with environmental, climate or sustainability themes. IUCN Declaration of Undertaking.

Evaluation Criteria

IUCN standard procurement: mandatory compliance, technical evaluation (creative portfolio, methodology, team, logistics), financial evaluation. Combined scoring within budget.
