Scope of Work
Complex logistics for the repatriation of contingent-owned equipment (COE) from peacekeeping missions in Lebanon and South Sudan. Scope: 1. Packing and crating of sensitive electronics and mechanical equipment. 2. Multi-modal transport (Sea freight from Beirut/Mombasa and road haulage to inland destinations). 3. Customs clearance management in multiple transit countries. 4. Provision of real-time GPS tracking for high-value military-grade assets. 5. Final delivery and offloading at designated national military bases.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Global freight forwarders with established offices or agents in Lebanon and Sub-Saharan Africa. 2. Experience: 10 years in heavy-lift and oversized cargo. 3. Compliance: Must be IATA and FIATA certified. 4. Financial: Ability to post a Performance Bond of 10 percent of contract value. 5. Security: Firm must have a clear anti-corruption and ethics policy.
