UNDP Resilience Hub for Africa - African Digital Transformation Solution Forum EOI
Overview
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), through its Resilience Hub for Africa, has launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) for stakeholders across the continent to participate in the African Digital Transformation Solution Forum. The Forum is a new platform designed to spotlight and scale innovative digital solutions that strengthen resilience, inclusion and sustainable development across Africa. It will bring together governments, innovators, development partners, private sector actors, research institutions and civil society to explore practical, home-grown digital solutions that address Africa most pressing development challenges including climate change, displacement, fragile governance and service delivery gaps.
Scope of Work
Selected stakeholders will participate in Forum activities including the main convening event, thematic working groups, partner showcases, investor matching sessions and follow-on workstreams. Tech enterprises, startups, government innovators, civil society organisations, research institutions and development partners are all encouraged to apply. Selected participants may gain visibility, secure partnerships and potentially scale their solution across the continent. UNDP will use the EOI submissions to curate participation and identify high-potential solutions for spotlight.
Requirements & Qualifications
Open to digital innovators and startups, governments and public sector innovators, civil society organisations active in digital inclusion or service delivery, research institutions and academia, development partners and donors, private sector actors. Solution should demonstrate relevance to African development challenges and a credible scaling pathway. Submissions via the official UNDP EOI form.
Evaluation Criteria
UNDP curation rather than competitive procurement evaluation. Selection criteria include relevance to Forum themes (resilience, inclusion, sustainable development), innovation, scalability, credibility of the organisation and contribution to ecosystem diversity.
