The Société des Eaux de Guinée (SEG-SA) is recruiting a consultant to supervise construction work under the Guinea Water and Sanitation Project (PEAG). The assignment is offered as a single lot, lot A, comprising project management, control and surveillance of construction of the Yessoulou IV drinking water plant, with a stated capacity of 200,000 cubic metres per day, together with the treated water conveyance structures, reservoirs and distribution networks covered by works lots 1 to 4. The consultant's services include assistance in the award of the contracts for lots 1 to 4; review of the design studies produced by the contractor for the drinking water production plant, which is a design and build works contract; review of the execution studies produced by the companies for all the works lots; and supervision and control of all civil engineering work and the environmental and social management plan, pipe laying and equipment installation, assistance to the contracting authority for tests, factory inspections, certificates of completion of works, testing and commissioning, and acceptance of the works contracts. The services are to be performed in accordance with the terms of reference. The notice does not set out qualification or submission requirements for applicants.

Scope of Work
La mission, confiée en lot unique (lot A), concerne la maîtrise d'œuvre, le contrôle et la surveillance des travaux de construction de l'usine d'eau potable de Yessoulou IV (capacité de 200 000 m³/j), ainsi que des ouvrages d'adduction d'eau traitée, des réservoirs et des réseaux de distribution prévus dans les lots de travaux 1 à 4. Les principaux services du consultant sont les suivants ; ils seront exécutés en tout point conformément aux Termes de Référence (TDRs) : l'assistance à la passation des marches des lots 1 à 4, le visa des études de conception réalisées par l'attributaire du marché de l'usine de production d'eau potable (marché de travaux en conception et réalisation), le visa des études d'exécution réalisées par les entreprises pour l'ensemble des lots de travaux précités au paragraphe 2, la supervision et le contrôle de tous les travaux de génie civil et le PGES, pose de canalisations et d'équipements, Assistance du Maître d'Ouvrage pour les essais, constats en usine, constat d'achèvement des travaux, essais et mise en service, et réception des marchés de travaux
