Scope of Work
The assignment will include preliminary site-wide geotechnical investigations and, subsequently, location-specific investigations based on the preliminary wind farm layout. The detailed scope, investigation areas, technical requirements and deliverables will be set out in the Terms of Reference provided at the next stage of the selection process.
Requirements & Qualifications
PEDU invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The shortlisting criteria are:
- Core BusinessMinimum of ten (10) years of experience undertaking geotechnical investigations and related studies.
- Demonstrated experience in satisfactorily completing geotechnical investigations for utility-scale energy or comparable infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking geotechnical investigations for at least minimum two (2) utility scale projects in Sub- Saharan Africa.
- The Consultant to demonstrate experience in undertaking comparable assignments in accordance with applicable technical, environmental and occupational health and safety standards
