Chellarams PLC

Chellarams PLC is one of Nigeria's oldest listed conglomerates, founded in 1923 by Kishinchand Chellaram, a Sindhi merchant who established a trading business in Kano, Northern Nigeria. Listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: CHELLARAM), the Chellarams Group has interests spanning consumer goods distribution (authorised distributor for multiple international brands), industrial products, food processing, dairy, and textiles. The Chellaram family played a central role in establishing Chi Limited (acquired by Coca-Cola in 2019) and remains a major indigenous industrial family in Nigeria.
