Onafriq (formerly MFS Africa) Nigeria is the Nigerian operation of Onafriq, the pan-African fintech infrastructure company founded in 2009 by Dare Okoudjou, a Beninese-French-American fintech entrepreneur. Onafriq operates the largest digital payments hub on the African continent, connecting over 500 million mobile money wallets, 200 million bank accounts, and hundreds of banks, fintechs, and mobile money operators across 40+ African countries. In Nigeria, Onafriq enables cross-border remittances, mobile money interoperability, merchant payments, and financial services integration. The company rebranded from MFS Africa to Onafriq in 2023.
