Cocoa Processing Company Limited (CPC) is Ghana's pioneer cocoa processing company, established in 1965 and based in Tema, Greater Accra Region. Incorporated as a limited liability company in November 1981 and publicly listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) on 14 February 2003, CPC comprises three factories: two Cocoa Factories and a Confectionery Factory. The company has an annual cocoa beans throughput capacity of 64,500 metric tonnes (expanded from an initial 25,000 MT), processing only premium Ghanaian cocoa beans without blending. CPC's Confectionery Factory produces the iconic Golden Tree brand of chocolate bars (Kingsbite, Oranco, Akuafo, Coffee Choc, Portem Nut, Portem Pride, Tetteh Quarshie), chocolate-coated peanuts (Pebbles), VITACO and ALLTIME drinking chocolate powders, ChocoDelight spread, ChocoBake, and Royale natural cocoa powder. CPC won gold medals for all seven chocolate brands at the 2002 Monde Selection Competition in Paris.
