Gertrude's Children's Hospital

Gertrude's Children's Hospital is East Africa's largest children's hospital, founded in 1947 in Nairobi and operated by the Gertrude's Garden Children's Home board of trustees. The hospital specialises exclusively in paediatric care, offering inpatient and outpatient services, a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), paediatric surgery, oncology, cardiology, and a network of over a dozen outpatient clinics across Nairobi and central Kenya. Gertrude's is the only dedicated children's hospital in East Africa and is a leading centre for paediatric training and research.
