Ghana Chamber of Mines

The Ghana Chamber of Mines is the umbrella association representing the Ghanaian mining industry, established in 1928 as one of Ghana's oldest trade associations. The chamber represents Ghana's large-scale mining companies (gold, bauxite, manganese, diamond) and advocates for industry policies, labour relations, environmental standards, and community relations. Ghana is Africa's largest gold producer, and the mining sector contributes significantly to exports, government revenue, and employment.
