About Ghana Institution of Engineers
The Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE) is the professional body representing engineers in Ghana, founded in 1968. GhIE registers and regulates Ghanaian engineers across civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, mining, and other engineering disciplines, and advocates for engineering excellence, professional standards, and engineering contribution to Ghana's development. The institution organises the annual GhIE Conference and publishes the Ghana Engineer journal.
