The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) is the umbrella professional body representing medical doctors in Ghana, founded in 1958. GMA advocates for doctors' welfare, professional standards, and public health policy, and engages with the Ghanaian government, Ministry of Health, and Ghana Health Service on behalf of thousands of Ghanaian physicians working in public and private healthcare. The association publishes the Ghana Medical Journal and organises the annual GMA Scientific Conference.
