Ghana Oil Palm Development Company

Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited (GOPDC) is a leading Ghanaian oil palm plantation and processing company based in Kwae, Eastern Region, operating approximately 17,000 hectares of oil palm plantations and two palm oil mills. Founded in 1975 as a state-owned plantation and later privatised, GOPDC is now part of the SIAT Group of Belgium (which also owns Presco in Nigeria). The company works with thousands of smallholder oil palm outgrowers and is a significant employer in Ghana's Eastern Region.
