Kumasi Central Market Kejetia

Kumasi Central Market (known locally as Kejetia Market) is one of the largest open-air markets in West Africa, located in the heart of Kumasi, Ashanti Region. The market hosts tens of thousands of traders and SMEs selling textiles (including Ashanti kente cloth), foodstuffs, clothing, household goods, electronics, traditional medicines, and virtually every category of consumer and trade goods. Kejetia is a major commercial hub for traders from across Ghana and from neighbouring Burkina Faso, Togo, Cote d'Ivoire, and Nigeria. The market was redeveloped into the modern Kejetia Market Complex in recent years.
