Manhyia Palace Museum

Manhyia Palace is the official seat of the Asantehene (King of the Ashanti people) located in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana. The palace houses the Manhyia Palace Museum, which showcases the history, regalia, and cultural heritage of the Ashanti Kingdom from its founding by Osei Tutu I in 1701 to the present reign of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The museum is a significant cultural tourism destination and a centre for Ashanti cultural preservation and education.
