NEM Insurance

NEM Insurance PLC is a Nigerian general insurance company listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: NEM), incorporated in 1948 as the Nigerian branch of the United Kingdom's National Employers Mutual General Insurance Association (NEM). The company was Nigerianised in 1976 following the indigenisation decree and has operated as an independent Nigerian insurer ever since. NEM offers motor, fire, marine, aviation, engineering, and bond insurance products, as well as liability and oil and gas insurance, to corporate and retail clients across Nigeria. NEM is among the oldest operating insurance companies in Nigeria.
