About Nigerian Bottling Company

Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) is the authorised bottler of The Coca-Cola Company's brands in Nigeria, operating under the Coca-Cola HBC Africa umbrella (part of Coca-Cola HBC AG, listed in London and Switzerland). Established in 1951, NBC produces and distributes the full Coca-Cola brand portfolio including Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Schweppes, Eva water, Five Alive fruit drinks, Burn energy drink, Limca, Monster Energy, and Chi Capri-Sonne (through an acquisition of Chi Limited in 2019). The company operates 13 bottling plants across Nigeria and employs over 4,000 people directly, making it one of the largest manufacturing companies in the country. In 2011, Coca-Cola HBC acquired a majority stake in NBC and took the company private, delisting it from the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
