Northern Star Tomato Company

Northern Star Tomato Company Limited was a Ghanaian tomato paste processing factory located in Pwalugu, Upper East Region, built by the Ghanaian government in 1968 to process tomatoes from Northern Ghana into tomato paste. The factory operated for several years before facing operational challenges and eventual shutdown. Northern Star represents Ghana's heritage in Northern regional agro-processing and has been the subject of multiple revival and privatisation efforts.
