PZ Cussons Nigeria PLC is the Nigerian subsidiary of UK-headquartered consumer goods group PZ Cussons, and one of the oldest operating FMCG companies in Nigeria, tracing its Nigerian presence to 1899 when the original Paterson Zochonis trading business was established in Sierra Leone and extended to Nigeria. The company is listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: PZ) and manufactures and markets home-care, personal-care, and food brands including Imperial Leather (soap), Cussons Baby, Premier soap, Joy soap, Canoe (detergent), Venus detergent, Morning Fresh, Carex, Zip (laundry), Haier Thermocool (fridges and home appliances, through a joint venture), and Nutricima dairy products. PZ Cussons operates major manufacturing facilities in Ikorodu (Lagos) and Aba (Abia State).
