About Seven-Up Bottling Company
Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited (SBC) is one of Nigeria's oldest and largest beverage manufacturers, founded in 1960 by Mohammed El-Khalil, a Lebanese-Nigerian businessman. The company is the franchise bottler of PepsiCo brands in Nigeria, producing Pepsi, 7Up, Mountain Dew, Mirinda, Aquafina, Lipton Ice Tea, and Pepsi Blue. SBC was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange from the 1990s until 2018, when the El-Khalil family bought back the public shareholding and took the company private. SBC operates nine bottling plants across Nigeria and is one of the largest FMCG employers in the country.
