SMATI Turtle Automobiles

SMATI Turtle is a prototype indigenous Ghanaian robust utility vehicle designed and manufactured by artisans of Suame Magazine, Kumasi, and unveiled in April 2013. Intended for use in rough African terrains, the SMATI Turtle 1 was built with local tools and materials by Suame Magazine engineers as a demonstration of indigenous Ghanaian vehicle manufacturing capacity. Further development was supported by the Dutch Government for roadworthiness testing and refinement.
