Transnational Corporation of Nigeria PLC (Transcorp) is Nigeria's leading indigenous diversified conglomerate, listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: TRANSCORP). Founded in 2004 as a Nigerian private-sector initiative championed by UBA Group founder Tony Elumelu CFR (who remains Chairman and the largest shareholder), Transcorp operates across hospitality (Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Transcorp Hotels Calabar, Transcorp Hotels Ikoyi), power generation (Transcorp Power - Ughelli Power Plant, Afam Power), energy (Transcorp Energy - OPL 281 oil block), and agribusiness.
