Cascador

Cascador is a transformative program for mid-stage African entrepreneurs scaling mission-driven companies. Launched in 2019, it has elevated five successful cohorts through a unique blend of education, self-discovery, mentoring, pitch training, and personalized advisory support. The program includes six months of mentorship post-program to ensure fellows can apply what they learn in the real world. The program offers a comprehensive three-month development experience, a $5,000 USD professional development stipend, access to a powerful network of alumni who have collectively raised over $55M USD, expert mentorship from successful Nigerian and American entrepreneurs, eligibility to apply for capital from the annual $2M Cascador Catalytic Fund, and the opportunity to compete for $50,000 in program prizes. Cascador's alumni have been accepted into global accelerator programs like Y Combinator and Techstars, collectively raising over $55M USD in capital. The program focuses on building strong leadership skills, clear value propositions, appropriate funding plans (equity, debt, and/or grants), a strong network of local resources, and a community of peers.
