About Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project (CEDP)
The Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project (CEDP) is a Ugandan government initiative aimed at improving the competitiveness of enterprises by implementing reforms in priority productive and service sectors. The project focuses on enhancing the business environment, reducing the cost of doing business, and boosting the competitiveness of selected high-impact sectors. CEDP is coordinated by the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) and involves various government ministries and agencies, including the Ministry of Lands, Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (HTTI), and Uganda Tourism Board (UTB).
