Melih Ödemiş

Melih Ödemiş is a pioneering Turkish entrepreneur and angel investor specializing in technology and e-commerce sectors. He co-founded Yemeksepeti.com in 2000, which became Turkey's leading online food delivery platform, operating in over 70 cities with more than 35,000 member restaurants and 18 million users. The company was acquired by Delivery Hero in 2015, marking one of the largest internet exits in the region. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Ödemiş is an active angel investor and a founding member of Galata Business Angels, one of Turkey's first angel investment networks. He has invested in over 20 companies, focusing on internet and technology sectors, and has been involved in various organizations supporting entrepreneurship, such as the E-Tohum Foundation and the Food Banking Association. Ödemiş holds a degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA from Boğaziçi University. He has been recognized as an Endeavor Entrepreneur and continues to mentor and invest in startups globally, residing in London with his family.
