Rockstart AgriFood Fund is a venture capital firm investing in early-stage agrifood startups in Europe. The fund focuses on purpose-driven founders scaling impactful solutions that improve the food supply system from soil to gut. It seeks investments in regenerative solutions, responsible and circular innovations, and tools that provide consumers with better access to nutritious food. The fund is backed by The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), De Hoge Dennen, Danish Agro, and other supporters who share its vision. The fund's investment strategy includes co-investments up to Series B, with a focus on sectors such as alternative packaging and proteins, smart fulfillment and logistics, bio alternatives to chemicals and plastic, precision food production, data and vertical data libraries, production capacity growth tools, upcycled products, tools to sequestrate CO2, supply chain traceability, molecular farming and genomics, impact certification in carbon markets, and human health. Since its inception, Rockstart AgriFood Fund has invested in over 50 ag and food tech startups, collectively raising over €60 million. The fund has a strong track record of supporting startups that have achieved significant milestones, including securing substantial funding rounds and forming strategic partnerships.
