Overview
The Government of The Gambia, with financing from the African Development Bank under the RB-VYWOSP project, is procuring construction and rehabilitation works at four health facilities: Brikama District Hospital, Chamen Health Center, Foday Kunda Health Center and Yerobawol Health Center. The works will improve health service delivery infrastructure across the four facilities, supporting Gambia primary and district level health system. This is a Specific Procurement Notice issued under AfDB Procurement Framework, open to eligible international bidders.
Scope of Work
Construction and rehabilitation works at the four health facilities per the architectural and engineering drawings in the bidding document. Civil, structural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and finishing works. Site preparation and ground works. Compliance with health facility design standards. Snagging, defects liability and handover.
Requirements & Qualifications
Construction firm with demonstrated track record of healthcare facility works. Compliance with AfDB Procurement Framework eligibility, integrity and anti-corruption provisions. Bid security per the bidding document. Strong financial standing and bonding capacity. Site visit attendance where mandatory.
Evaluation Criteria
AfDB SPN evaluation: mandatory eligibility, technical evaluation (firm capacity, key personnel, methodology, references, equipment), financial evaluation. Award to lowest evaluated substantially responsive bid.
