Overview
IUCN Headquarters is procuring a global consultant on Regenerative Agriculture and Landscape Action. The 12-month engagement supports IUCN agricultural and landscape work, advising on regenerative agriculture approaches, landscape-scale action, integration with IUCN biodiversity and climate priorities, partnership development with food and agriculture actors, and knowledge product development. The contract value is below CHF 100,000.
Scope of Work
Provide technical advice on regenerative agriculture and landscape action across IUCN programmes. Develop knowledge products and guidance documents. Support partnership engagement with food and agriculture sector actors (companies, foundations, NGOs, governments). Contribute to IUCN positioning on agriculture and food systems. Support proposal development and resource mobilisation. Travel as required for stakeholder engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications
Senior expert with 10+ years in regenerative agriculture, sustainable food systems, agroecology or landscape management. Track record working with international organisations, multinationals or governments on agriculture and biodiversity intersections. Strong English; French an advantage. IUCN Declaration of Undertaking.
Evaluation Criteria
IUCN standard consultancy evaluation: CV/firm profile, technical proposal, financial proposal. Combined scoring; award to highest combined score within budget.
