Audit Assurance Engagement - WALD Innovation Facility (ISAE 3000)

IUCN Headquarters is procuring an ISAE 3000 audit assurance engagement for the WALD (Water and Land for the Environment) Innovation Facility. The 30-month contract requires the auditor to perform assurance engagements at multiple project locations in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000. The contract is valued at approximately EUR 120,000 and requires a multi-country audit firm with experience auditing donor-funded innovation or grant facilities.

Plan and execute ISAE 3000 assurance engagements at WALD Innovation Facility project locations across Africa, Asia, South America and Europe per the agreed audit calendar. Issue assurance reports per ISAE 3000 standards. Report findings, observations and recommendations to IUCN. Coordinate with IUCN Internal Audit and WALD Facility management. Refresh procedures annually.

Audit firm with multi-country presence and experience conducting ISAE 3000 assurance engagements. Affiliation with major international audit network preferred. Demonstrated experience auditing donor-funded grant or innovation facilities. Multilingual capability (English, French, Spanish). IUCN Declaration of Undertaking.

IUCN standard procurement: mandatory compliance, technical evaluation (firm capacity, multi-country footprint, ISAE 3000 experience, references), financial evaluation. Award to highest combined-score responsive bidder.
