Overview

IUCN Central and West Africa Regional Office (PACO), through its Ghana Project Office, is procuring nursery infrastructure, tools and restoration equipment for the LOGME II project (Local Governance of Mangrove Ecosystems Phase II), implemented in partnership with the Burkina Faso Programme Unit. The equipment will be used to establish and operate forest restoration nurseries that produce native tree seedlings for landscape restoration and mangrove rehabilitation activities. The contract is a one-month supply engagement with an estimated value below CHF 15,000. Bidders should be able to deliver to project sites in Ghana and Burkina Faso as specified in the tender document.

Scope of Work

Supply of nursery infrastructure (shade nets, polybags, irrigation kits, watering equipment, seedling trays). Supply of restoration tools (planting tools, hand tools, protective equipment). Delivery to designated project sites in Ghana and Burkina Faso. Provision of warranty/return terms for defective items.

Requirements & Qualifications

Legally registered supplier of agricultural and nursery equipment in West Africa. Capability to deliver to Ghana and Burkina Faso. IUCN Declaration of Undertaking. Completion of the IUCN RFQ Excel template included in the tender package. Compliance with the Statement of Requirements specifications.

Evaluation Criteria

IUCN standard RFQ evaluation: mandatory compliance, line-by-line technical compliance with Statement of Requirements, lowest priced compliant offer wins.
