May & Baker Nigeria

May & Baker Nigeria PLC is one of Nigeria's oldest and most established pharmaceutical manufacturers, listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: MAYBAKER) and incorporated in 1944 as a subsidiary of the UK pharmaceutical company May & Baker Limited (which was later acquired by Sanofi-Aventis). May & Baker Nigeria was Nigerianised in 1980 and is now fully Nigerian-owned, with Nnamdi Okafor as Managing Director/CEO. The company manufactures a wide range of pharmaceutical products including antimalarials, analgesics, antibiotics, and food and nutritional products, and operates an ultra-modern plant in Ota, Ogun State.
