About Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa
The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) is the largest museum of contemporary African art in the world, located at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa. Opened in September 2017, the museum occupies a stunning reimagined historic grain silo building designed by British architect Thomas Heatherwick, housing the collection of former PUMA CEO Jochen Zeitz alongside loans and commissions. Zeitz MOCAA has become a major continental cultural institution and Cape Town destination, showcasing contemporary art from Africa and the African diaspora.
