Zulu Crafts Cooperative

Zulu Crafts Cooperative represents thousands of Zulu women artisans across KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, producing traditional Zulu crafts including beadwork, woven grass baskets (imbenge), wire telephone-wire baskets (a uniquely Zulu craft), woodcarvings, and pottery. The cooperative supports rural Zulu women's livelihoods by facilitating access to urban and international craft markets, and represents one of the most visible expressions of Zulu cultural heritage in the commercial craft sector.
