About this Program
The Tony Elumelu Foundation 2026 Entrepreneurship Programme offers African entrepreneurs USD 5,000 in non-refundable seed capital, 12 weeks of online business training delivered via TEFConnect, one-on-one mentorship, and access to a pan-African network of entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers. Since 2015, the programme has funded over 24,000 entrepreneurs across all 54 African countries, disbursing over USD 100 million in direct funding and generating more than 1.5 million jobs. The 2026 cycle prioritises agribusiness, the green economy, and tech-enabled services.

Eligibility
Citizens or legal residents of any of the 54 African countries, aged 18 or older, with a business idea or an existing business no older than 5 years, registered and operating primarily in an African country.
